School Responsibilities

School Responsibilities:

1. Provider must be an existing business providing special education services to children and be registered to participate in the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship program. Registration starts in the month of December.

2. Provider staff must be credentialed to provide the special education services they are offering through the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program.

3. Owner must have a OH|ID account.

4. Participating providers must renew their participation every year.

5.  A consultant will be assigned to review and provide feedback on the application. Provider application reviews can range from 30 to 60 days after submission, given all provider information such as staffing, credentials, documentation and any other required information has been submitted. The school will be alerted of the status of the provider application via email.

6. The school must address any comments or issues that are required to be eligible, and then notify the reviewing consultant, who will review again (with the same review timeframe).
